This is my theory, what if Noah did not build the ark, did not talk to God, or collect all those animals? But he saw the rain starting and his neighbor had this huge boat full of animals and thought if I had him over for dinner and drinks and during the evening his neighbor just happened to get killed, it would be a waste to to let that huge boat float away with nobody on it, wouldn’t it?
When the neighbors family would yell about God’s plan as the waters rose and the boat started floating away, Noah would just say, “La,la,la, I can’t hear you because of the rain.” Since Noah and his family were the ones who survived I guess they would write the story as to what happened.

I hate to sound like I’ve read to much Ayn Rand, but I think that the only thing that can change what has happened is the business man. I think government gets in the way and is a nessesary evil(thanks T. Jefferson for that).

The argument to me comes down to the individual right to defend yourself and the governments right to control society even if it renders the individual defenseless. But the defenseless individual is easier to control so you see why gun control is an important issue for an fascist government.
Two quotes from the story that illustrate the flaw in the thinking of the gun control people. What happens if the police decide not to help you? Remember you have no legal recourse in the US for failure of the police to show up or defend you.
“Mr D’Souza had already seen two gunmen calmly stroll across the station concourse shooting both civilians and policemen, many of whom, he said, were armed but did not fire back.”
“But what angered Mr D’Souza almost as much were the masses of armed police hiding in the area who simply refused to shoot back. “There were armed policemen hiding all around the station but none of them did anything,” he said. “At one point, I ran up to them and told them to use their weapons. I said, ‘Shoot them, they’re sitting ducks!’ but they just didn’t shoot back.”

I hate to say it but the federal government is a bunch of clowns. They are making billion dollar balloon animals that will send our children into poverty and our grandchildren into slavery. As soon as they can get their big top to cover the the whole country it will be one big three ring lawyer circus. The only business that will succeed at that time will be the ones picking the pockets of the crowds, that will be a dangerous business since that is the job of the clowns and the three ring lawyers.

If your kids are better looking than your spouse, that means that you are good looking! There is no other way to explain it.

Let’s see, the planet is 25 light years away. If you were to travel at the speed of light how long would it take you to get there?
Oh, if you said 25 years you would be wrong:-(

I wonder, if he had that second ball would he have chilled out a little bit?
I don’t think so Mao and Stalin were bastards and they had two (as far as I know).

How to Convince Someone to Vote September 30, 2008

In my opinion, if I’m not sure you are going to vote like me or you have no idea what is going on in the world, I’m not going to try to get you to vote! Please, if you don’t know what you are doing, don’t vote! First find out what is going on around you! Hitler was elected to save Germany from corrupt politicians. Mao had millions of supporters who did not figure out that he was a genocidal, fascist, dictator until it was too late! Encouraging the ignorant to vote is wrong! First they must know what is really going on.

Voter turnout has been decreasing in established democracies around the world over the past 40 years.[1] So what can you do, as an individual, to reverse this trend? Social scientists say that there are four main reasons people vote (or don’t vote) and they all affect each other like this: PB + D > C.[2]
- P = probability that an individual’s vote will affect the outcome of an election
- B = perceived benefit of the outcome
- D = democracy, civic duty; immediate gratification from the act of voting itself
- C = time, effort, and financial cost involved in voting
Basically, all the pros (P, B, D) need to outweigh the cons (C). When you’re talking to someone who isn’t planning on voting, you have a much better chance of convincing them to cast their ballot by making a strong case for the pros, and minimizing the cons. Here’s a practical guide to shifting the decision in favor of voting.
